Announcing A Conversation with Beckwith & Fisher at the San Juan Community Theatre sponsored by the San Juan Islands Museum of Art. The artists narrate their photographs covering the last 15 years of work. Their new book AFRICAN TWILIGHT: Vanishing Rituals & Ceremonies celebrates Africa’s cultural heritage and creates a “passionate portrayal of the splendor of human creativity.” Beckwith and Fisher are photographers and adventurers recording sacred ceremonies of Africa before it is too late. Tickets are available at SJIMA’s reception desk during regular hours and here online or at the San Juan Community Theatre.

This talk is part of an Art As A Voice series accompanying the AFRICAN TWILIGHT exhibition from June 4 – September 7, 2020. Thursday-Monday 11:00 – 5:00

Tickets are $29, $27 for museum members and $20 for students.

The talk is followed by a book signing of their book, AFRICAN TWILIGHT: Vanishing Rituals & Ceremonies. Books are available at SJIMA and the book signing.
